Founder of the Vor&Nach Society of HEMA, who’s been promoting fencing between different blades and gradually fascinated with Historical European Martial Arts since 2010, specialize in Liechtenauer longsword, Lecküchner messer, I.33 sword&buckler and Capoferro Rapier.

《中世紀鐵沙掌：抓劍與迷思》
開鋒刀劍，不管是抓自己的，還是抓對手的，在很多中世紀文獻中皆有記錄，在對劍時，作為接近戰的重要手段，使用者必須同時面對刃口寒光的恐懼與破釜沈舟的求生欲，其實總歸一句話：要命，還是向利刃屈服？
歐洲劍只開前1/3刃所以才能抓？
他們都是戴鐵手套所以可以抓？
歐洲劍一點都不鋒利所以抓了不會受傷？

《Medieval sword grab and myths》
The sword grabbing techniques described in many medieval treatises are very valuable in close combat, you can grab your own sword or opponents’. However, we need to dealt with the danger from the sharp edge, and to push our will to survive when we use these techniques.
Does the European sword only have top third of the blade sharpened?
Are they wearing steel gauntlets so that they can safely grab sword?
Is the sword not sharp at all so they can grab it?
There are(and probably always will be) some myth about the sword grabbing. In this workshop, instructor Exiel Li will teach you to grab sharp swords step by step, overcoming fear and to use the techniques in sparring!
